Independent Living Centre of our Leaders

Peace to men and peace in the valleys and hills all over the whole world. The independent living centre is a kind of services that our elders and senior parents who are still capable of living alone in their own with only minimal assistance. It is our parents who were our first leaders in our homes because their inherent nature of being a leader in their homes is their obligation to humanity where we are one of the members and followers. Every human being has the capacity and the desire for leadership, but only few have the courage and will to cultivate it. Leadership is what we call the trusted privilege given by followers. If we the children are the followers of our parents, then we give them our trust to lead us for the better of course. We desire for a true leadership that is not a technique but it is an attitude which calls for a marriage of the leadership spirit and the spirit of leadership.

Why do we seek for leadership in our society today? Why don’t we just lead on our own those people who can follow us? Because the ultimate purpose of leadership is not to maintain followers but to produce leaders instead. Life is a cycle and what goes around comes around. The goal of true leadership is to inspire others to discover their leadership gift and serve it to the world. The heart is again a vital part of this true leadership goal. If people love other people and themselves, they have to really do what is expected of them. The passion of true leadership is to release leadership in others. Fake leadership leads people or leaders to be zealous that they become so insecure and this will lead them to put their followers in total ignorance so that they can abuse them. So people have to rediscover the mandate of leadership and identify their roles and functions. There is always a place for everything and a time for every hearts of our leaders. Whether they may live in their homes as their Centre’s or go to the facility nearby.

By our parents and elders who are in this independent living centre for our leaders is just one way of telling us that this is what they expect from us in the future to happen even when they are already gone. They are just leading us by example and without much ado, they mean it. So in return, we as their children have to deliver the right offer to the right people at the right time by creating and sending them the atmosphere of love that would be very convenient to them. Love is what they have left to us as their legacy and no one can contest love for mankind. No one can love animals and big mammals, plants and flowers, insects, snakes and scorpions, fishes and other reptiles, and other living things that are creeping on earth. Human beings can only like them but not to love them.
