If these groups are still mentally fit but physically
handicapped, they can potentially think, planning and share their ideas on disability
prevention from their experiences. These handicapped people since birth are not
exempted here provided they can participate, share and care to love others.
These people teaches us indirectly to be tough because their being does not hinder
them to push through with living, caring, sharing, continue loving, laughing to
enjoying things that they ought to do in life. They may be in need of a
community facility or may remain in their homes based on their choice with
their family and just be assisted by their assisted living facilities services that is
tailored for them.
Making them feel happy, joyful, energetic, caring and
sharing, and helping others in any way they like to do in life is a big factor
for them to move on. Living loves other people by associating with them, interrelating
with them, and doing what their love ones do in life. The caregiver who will
assist the handicapped in the facility or in their own homes silently becomes
the expediter and is learning many things from them because they are both engrossed
in each other’s life. They teach each other and they learn from each other.
They gently adapt to the situation and exchange everything they can absorb for
their sake, and for their future target beneficiaries whom they would like to
transfer that talent inherited from them while they are assisting them and
earning their bread and butter for life.
These tools we use while we assist these physically
handicapped to get on to their wheel chairs in going to their scheduled
appointments for their speaking engagements are part of the facilities they use
to help them keep moving while alive. Other facilities may be their crutches,
their wands, their plastic foot, their plastic arms and many more. These are
tools to help them move on their own with minimal assistance that cannot be
provided by their family due to their limited time and schedule. A assisted living facilities service is needed to help them keep moving while they are still able to do
their favorite jobs.
Physically handicapped of younger ages that need to go
to school to earn education and push through with life need somebody to assist
them in putting on their daily clothing especially during their monthly periods
for females. Hygiene is very crucial for everyone and really needs assistance in
order to cope. The situation may be harsh but it will soon be overcome with the
passing of time and will be normal as usual. The form of services can be in
home care, or for those adults’ not in school may do gardening, need someone to
help them in travelling to their planned events, going to markets and shop and
may do in-home nursing when necessary and do other rehabilitation and physical
therapy if needed. There is no such small job or no job at all to perform and
let us all do our job in any way.
